GDG undertake Construction Management services using Specialist Trade Package Contractors. The service can provide all aspects of cost management, programme and site execution including site supervision and administration.

This approach is often preferred by Clients wishing to maintain a hands-on management control, and for projects where the possibility of design changes is anticipated as the project develops.

 

Procurement Management

No matter which way a Client wants to procure their facility, GDG can advise on how to implement procurement with the minimum of risk.

GDG can execute procurement on behalf of Client's and manage the administration process.

 


Cost Advice and Management

GDG provide comprehensive cost advice from feasibility studies through to the valuation of work for payment.

At GDG we understand the difference between costs and prices and how to obtain value from design solutions.

GDG implements active real-time change management processes to allow Clients to control expenditure and keep within budgets.

 


Designer Selection and Appointments

Good Designers are crucial to successful projects, but even good Designers can fail if their appointments are not made clear.

GDG encourages Designers to focus on deliverables within a managed framework. This reduces abortive design time and matches the production of designs with the needs of project execution.

 


Productivity Measurement and Improvement

GDG have developed productivity measurement techniques which identify inefficiencies, waste and rework in the execution of construction work on site. The measurement system is known as ImPACT©. The system assists with continuous improvement techniques and the value engineering of designs.

 


Dispute Resolution and Advice

GDG's knowledge of construction Contracts, their implementation and the modes of project failure provides a valuable resource when reviewing disputes.
