Description of Facility:   A new two storey 9000m2 production building with process installations, mechanical handling, cool tunnels and services infrastructure.

The new facility is a state- of- the- art production unit with computer controlled process supplies and automated materials handling. The facility also includes a fruit processing facility which is integrated with the milk production and filling lines.

Description of Facility:   A new automated storage, stock control, retrieval and order picking facility accommodating over 16,000 pallet spaces with 13 automated cranes. The whole facility is climate controlled
to provide an operating temperature range of 0 oC - +5oC.

The order picking / dispatch area has pick faces automatically fed from the storage facility and serving 16 airlocked loading docks.

The facility is completely computer controlled and linked into the existing production lines, which operates 24 hours / day, 365 days / year.

There is also an integral freezer store linked to the automated materials handling system which accommodates up to over 3,500 pallets of frozen materials at minus 18 oC - 25 oC.

Ancillary facilities include a new 700m 2 office / canteen, a new lorry park accommodating 45 lorries and new road infrastructure, directly linking the site into the A53.
